Greensburg, KY — A driver was injured after the logging truck he was driving rolled over in Greensburg, Kentucky, on Monday, October 20, 2014. The accident happened on KY 88, around 10:00 in the morning.
Don Wilcox was traveling along 88 when he tried to make a right hand turn. The truck ended up leaving the roadway and rolling over and spilling logs across the road, before crashing into a home.
Wilcox suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. Danny Yoder, a passenger inside the truck, was treated at the scene of the accident.
The road was shut down for five hours while emergency crews worked to clear the wreckage.

Unfortunately, this sort of thing happens more often than you might think. One of the safety problems often associated with vehicles like this is, if they’re ever improperly loaded, cargo can shift and cause the entire truck to rollover. Is that responsible for what happened here? We don’t know. It’s possible. If it is, then whoever was responsible for loading the truck may find themselves liable for the accident.
