CHICO, TX — Both Donald Clark was killed and Lewis Walsh was hurt in a tractor-trailer accident that was reported outside Chico, Texas on Thursday, September 25th, 2014. The Wise County Messenger said the accident happened just before 4:00 Thursday afternoon.
52-year-old James Clark died and 60-year-old Lewis Walsh was injured when Clark’s pickup and Walsh’s tractor-trailer collided on FM 1810. Investigators suspect that Clark’s pickup truck crossed from the eastbound lanes to the westbound lanes when it hit Walsh’s tractor-trailer head-on.
Clark was taken to the hospital after being cut from his pickup where he later died. Walsh was taken to Wise Regional Health System for unspecified injuries.
State and Local agencies were investigating the accident.
