BATON ROUGE, LA — A hit-and-run accident left one person dead in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Friday, June 20th, 2014, according to the news report from WAFB.
Police have said that they have reason to believe Eric Fabre was killed when he was hit by a car that fled the scene when he was riding his scooter in on Airline Highway around 1:00 Friday night.

Eric Fabre was killed in the crash. Police have issued a warrant for Janneh Trench, who is believed to have burned the offending vehicle after the accidnet.
The Louisiana State Police are currently investigating the incident.
Commentary:
The main frustration with hit-and-run accidents lies in the fact that there really arent that may steps to be taken until the driver is apprehended by authorities. Until then, unless the victim’s insurance covers hit-and-run incidents, no claim can be made against another insurance carrier without a policy to go on, but once the driver is found, the wheels can be put in motion.
