PINE BLUFF, AR — A three-vehicle accident left two men dead in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on Saturday, July 5th, 2014, according to the report from Fox-16.
Authorities believe Aaron Durham was killed when the vehicle in which he was a passenger is believed to have crossed the center line and collided with two other vehicles while driving on Highway 63 near the intersection with Nelson Road.
Scene of the Accident
Both 18-year-old Caleb Spaulding and 20-year-old Aaron Durham were killed in the crash.
No other injuries were detailed in the news.
The Arkansas State Police is assisting with the investigation at the time of writing.
Commentary:
The fault in this accident is going to more than likely fall onto the vehicle that is found to have crossed the center median, but that doesnt really cover what would happen if the crossover was out of the driver’s control. If there was a tire blowout, for instance, then the manufacturer of the tire could face some of the liability, and all it would take is a trained eye having a look at the road for tire skids to tell us if this is the case. Nobody will know for sure until the investigation is completed.
