Commentary
Much like the news reports are saying, not much information has been released on what happened on Friday. Kind of a catch-all I’ve found in situations like this, however, is that investigations into plane accidents typically take a very long time. The FAA and NTSB like to take their time with these sorts of things. The problem is, the people involved want to know what happened a lot sooner than that. If an accident occurred because of negligence on someone’s part, it’s possible there’s a running clock on how much time they’ve got to file a claim. We’ve been involved in similar cases in the past and have always been able to find these people answers through our own, private investigations.
