Thursday, May 30th 2013–   Two employees of McVac Environmental were injured when the old underground gas tank they were working to remove exploded unexpectedly. The men were reported as not being transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident. Wednesday, May 29th 2013–  Inspectors from OSHA are currently conducting an investigation into what could have caused a large metal beam to fall on a worker and seriously injure the man’s leg. It is not clear exactly how the beam fell, nor how far it fell before hitting the injured man. He was taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital where he was admitted in serious, but stable condition. Wednesday, May 29th 2013–   Brienne Ross and her 5-year-old daughter were the occupants of the SUV that was hit by another vehicle that was driving the wrong way on I-95 in Groton, CT. The car that was going the wrong way was also reported to have had its headlights off prior to the accident. Wednesday, May 29th 2013–  Rebeccah Rockman was identified in reports as the driver of the car that was driving the wrong way on I-95 in Groton, CT on Wednesday. Friday, May 24th 2013–   A 41-year-old man, identified in reports as Rigobert Lokioutina, was treated on scene by emergency responders after the box truck he was driving somehow flipped. Investigation into the accident is currently underway by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Lokioutina was reportedly not transported to a hospital following the accident. Thursday, May 30th 2013–   Two vehicles were involved in an accident in Clay, NY that sent three people to area hospitals with varying degrees of injuries. Reports do not indicate the nature of any of those injuries, but it was noted that all injuries appeared to be minor. No hospital admission status was noted in reports. Friday, May 31st 2013–   Early Friday morning, a vehicle somehow got onto the northbound lanes of I-35 going south. That vehicle hit another vehicle in what seems from accident photos to have likely been a head-on accident. Friday, May 31st 2013–  A total of seven people were reportedly injured when a car allegedly ran a red light and was hit by a Capital Metro bus in Austin, TX. Five of those people required transport to a hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident, but the nature and severity of any of those injuries has not been noted in reports regarding the accident. Wednesday, May 29th 2013–   Police in Longview, TX are investigating the accident that left Michael Bonham with life-threatening injuries. Wednesday, May 29th 2013–   Investigators are trying to determine what could have contributed to a man nearly drowning at the Jamerson YMCA in Lynchburg, VA on Wednesday. The man was successfully resuscitated on the scene by paramedics, and was taken to Lynchburg General Hospital where he was admitted in critical condition.
