Corpus Christi Student Hit by SUV While Walking to School

According to the news reports in Corpus Christi, an 8th grade student was struck and injured by an SUV on September 27, 2012. Source said that a 13-year old boy was walking to Grant Middle School at about 8:45 a.m. when he was hit by an SUV. Richard Calkins, Mary Ross Injured in Barnegat, NJ Car Accident

A three-car accident in Barnegat Township, NJ happened on September 26, 2012 and left three people injured. According to Barnegat news reports, 84-year old Mary Ross was driving north along Route 9 when she turned in front of a southbound pickup truck, causing a collision. Houston, TX Car Accident at Highway 90 and Sam Houston Injures Driver

According to Houston, TX news reports, a man was critically injured in a serious single-vehicle accident that happened on September 25, 2012. The Houston police reported that a man, described only as “in his twenties,” was driving a black, 2-door coupe along Highway 90 when he was reportedly swerved in traffic and crashed into a pillar at Sam Houston Parkway North. California Approves Google’s Driverless Automobiles

The California legislature is the third in the nation to approve driver-less automobiles for it’s roadways.  On September 25th, California Governor, Jerry Brown, signed into law senate bill 1298 which makes the automated vehicles legal and authorizes California’s department of motor vehicles to regulate applicable safety protocols for the cars.
