Sources in Decatur TX stated that a three-car accident along FM 51 left one man injured on July 30 2012. According to reports 28-year old John Powell was injured when a pickup truck crashed into the rear of his car causing it to strike another truck. Police said that the accident happened about one mile north of Decatur at about 8:00 a.m.

Sources stated that Hyundai has issued a recall that affects more than 220000 units of their Sonata and Santa Fe models. According to reports certain 2012-2013 Sonata models may be affected by airbag issues. Apparently side-curtain airbags designed for the Sonata may unintentionally be set off posing an injury and visibility threat to passengers and drivers.

Officials said that the airbags in certain Santa Fe models from 2007-2009 may not deploy during an accident posing a threat to the passengers and driver. Hyundai allegedly stated that a free software update will be given to affected consumers. 119118 Santa Fe model and 22512 Sonata models were recalled.

Police reports in San Antonio TX stated that two different accidents withg the same driver left one man with severe injuries. According to reports 23-year old Ernesto Aragon was driving along Loop 1604 near US-90 and crashed into a car at high speeds. The driver of the car was allegedly not injured but Aragon fled the scene.

Sources in Navasota TX stated that a fatal car accident along Hollister Street left one teenager injured and another unnamed juvenile dead. The accident happened on July 26 2012 at about 2:50 p.m. Police said that Jose Zendejas was a passenger in a car that was being driven by an unnamed juvenile who reportedly lost control of the car.

According to news reports a single-vehicle accident left one woman injured in Poplar Bluff MO on July 23 2012. Sources identified the woman as 23-year old Michelle L. Wallace.
