Kawasaki Cordless Drills Recalled Citing Burn Hazards
According to official reports a cordless drill by Kawasaki was recalled for burn hazards. The company recalled roughly 45000 drills and stated that the trigger switches on the handle can short out which could potentially burn a consumers finger or hand.
Kawasaki acknowledged 33 reports of the drill malfunction which included one instance of a burn injury to a consumer. The affected model was listed as number 691761 and is green and black-colored. Consumers were able to purchase the drills exclusively at Costco and are reportedly able to receive a free replacement from Alltrade Tools.
William River Injured After Fatal Single-Car Collision in San Antonio, TX
According to San Antonio TX news sources a single-car accident along Camaron Street left one man injured on June 26 2012. The accident happened when 24-year old William Rivera was reportedly driving along Camaron and lost control striking a concrete pillar underneath the I-20 overpass.

Police said that Rivera was in critical condition at a local hospital after the wreck. They also cited alcohol contribution on the police report as a possible factor in the accident but no details were confirmed. The accident happened just before midnight.

Fire Hazards Prompt Recall of Notus Air Blowers
According to reports by the Consumer Product Safety Commission the company Servpro announced a large recall for their Notus air blowers. Sources said that that the air blowers internal electrical capacitor had the potential to overheat. If this happened the company said a fire could start from the device overheating.
Servpro acknowledged that four instances had occurred where the air blowers had overheated. Three of the four incidents involved property damage allegedly. This also included a home that sustained roughly $475000 in damage. The affected models of the air blowers were green and have green housing that covers the units.
