Sunday, June 30th 2013– Amy Plant, 48, was confirmed in reports as one of the residents of an assisted living facility that were involved in an a single-vehicle accident in Venice, FL on Sunday. No information was available with regards to the nature and severity of the injuries Plant was treated for, nor where that treatment took place.
Scene of the Accident:
According to accident reports, the LARC bus was loaded up with at least seven residents of an assisted living home for developmentally disabled adults when the van blew a tire and overturned on I-75. Two LARC employee were injured in the accident along with four residents of the facility; two other residents were killed in the accident. The van had previously been serviced at C&T Service Center in Ft. Meyers, FL.
