Friday, June 21st 2013– A 54-year-old man, identified in reports as Ricky Hovland, was reportedly involved in a multi-vehicle accident that resulted in an explosion of a tanker truck. Accident reports note that Hovland was injured, but do not specify anything about those injuries. It is also unclear whether or not Hovland was taken to the hospital for treatment of those injuries.
Scene of the Accident:
According to accident reports, a tanker truck was eastbound on Highway 2 when it turned north onto a gravel road. Somehow, several other vehicles ended up striking the tanker, and ultimately, an explosion occurred. The accident is still the focus of an intense investigation to determine several facts regarding the accident.
