Man injured in car accident in Galveston, TX.

 

On Saturday, July 24, one man was injured in a Galveston, TX rollover accident.  The accident happened in the northbound lanes of Interstate 45 at approximately 11:00 a.m.  According to local news reports, another vehicle cut the man off on the interstate.  The man swerved to avoid a collision and crashed in a K-rail in the center of the interstate.  His car allegedly flipped end over end five times in the crash.  The victim was taken to Mainland Medical Center for treatment.  Thankfully, his injuries are not life threatening.  The name of the victim has not yet been released.  The accident remains under investigation.  Police have not yet stated whether or not charges will be filed against the other driver.
