Three people hurt in single vehicle crash when driver falls asleep near Fritch, TX.
On Tuesday, July 20, three people were hurt in a single vehicle accident near Fritch, TX.The injured victims were 18-year-old Brenna Kirk, her 9-month-old son, and the driver of the car.The accident happened on Texas Highway 136, just south of Fritch.According to early news reports, the driver was traveling north on the highway on Tuesday afternoon, when he allegedly fell asleep.The driver then woke up and lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll over at least twice.Kirk was thrown from the vehicle during the wreck.All three occupants of the vehicle were injured and taken to Northwest Texas Hospital, but their injuries are thankfully not life-threatening.The accident is still being investigated.No word yet on charges filed against the driver.
