Police officer David Dunaway injured after car crash in Johnson County, TX.

 

On Monday, June 21, Grandview police officer David Dunaway was injured in a traffic accident in Johnson County, TX.  The accident happened on County Road 405, just northwest of Grandview.  Dunaway was responding to a call when he allegedly lost control of his vehicle during a 90 degree turn.  News reports state that his car slid off the road and crashed into a tree.  Dunaway was rushed by helicopter to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital, but he remains in critical condition.  The accident is still under investigation.
