Toyota Tundra to be recalled for rust-related issues.
On Tuesday, March 9, Toyota announced that it will be recalling additional Toyota Tundra pickups due to rust issues. The announcement claims that some of these vehicles' frames could rust, causing spare tires to fall off, brake lines corroding, and other safety issues. These incidents have been reported in various cases, but no serious injuries have occurred.
As public outcry against Toyota has shown, consumers demand that automakers release safe products. When they do not and innocent drivers are hurt, those victims may wish to sue for personal injury. I wish I could say that this is an easy task, but in my experience, automakers will go to great lengths to avoid taking responsibility for someone's injuries. But ultimately, the law is in place to protect consumers. With an experienced personal injury attorney on your side, even the auto industry giants can be held accountable for their negligence.

As a Texas attorney practicing for 20 years, I have litigated all manner of personal injury cases. I use this blog as a place to write opinion / editorial articles on a variety of topics that catch my interest and as a means of sharing news stories relevant to personal injury accidents. I think the overwhelming majority of people are unaware just how common these types of accidents are and I hope this blog raises awareness to rather serious public safety concerns. However, this blog is simply a means for me to share my opinions and I would recommend that anyone who is considering seeking legal counsel should contact their family attorney.
