According to Houston, TX new reports, a 10-year old boy was hit and injured by a car along Woodforest Boulevard on Wednesday, January 23, 2013. The boy, who wasn’t named, was trying to get to his school bus at about 8:00 a.m. that morning when he attempted to walk across Woodforest near John Ralston.

An oncoming car ran over the boy’s foot and struck him with its bumper, the driver claiming that he did not see him. The boy was taken to Eastside Regional Hospital and was treated for non-serious injuries. Currently, there have been no charges filed in the matter.
