Longmont, CO – Maria Chairez was injured after being struck by a vehicle on 9th Avenue on December 12, 2015. The accident occurred around 5:15 PM.
According to reports, Maria Chairez was walking home from work when she was struck by a passing vehicle at the intersection of Ninth Avenue and Kimbark Street. The driver fled the scene of the accident.
Maria Chairez, 42, sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident. She was transported to area hospitals for treatment of her injuries.
The accident is still under investigation by the police.
