Phoenix, AZ – A 6-year-old child was injured after an iron gate fell on top of him on October 27, 2015. The accident occurred late Tuesday evening.
According to reports, a 6-year-old boy was playing at a neighbor’s house near 7th Street and Carefree Highway when he attempted to open an iron gate for the homeowner before the gate fell on him.
The boy sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident. He was transported to Phoenix Children’s Hospital for treatment of critical injuries.
The incident is currently under investigation by the police as it is unclear what caused the gate to fall onto the boy.
