Klein, Texas — It looks like 9 students were injured in rural Klein, TX about 2 weeks ago, according to a recent news report. Apparently, a Klein ISD school bus was in an accident with a car while making a left turn, which resulted in 9 students aboard the bus suffering minor injuries.
This accident happened on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the intersection of Spring Cypress and Old Louetta Roads.
Not many detail were released, but the news seemed to suggest that the school bus was headed along Spring Cypress that day and was leaving Ulrich Intermediate Schools when it tried to make a left turn onto Old Louetta.
As it did, a car crashed into the side of it, injuring 9 students in the process. The car’s driver was also hurt, but it’s not clear how badly.
Right now, the cause of the accident, including which driver was at fault, is a little unclear.
Update: The police said that the car’s driver was at fault.
The bus was carrying about 60 students at the time and the 9 who were injured suffered only slight injuries, the police later reported.
