Macon, GA — Authorities in Macon and in Bibb County confirmed that a woman from Warner Robins was injured after her pickup truck was in a wreck along Eisenhower Parkway, several miles southwest of Macon. Alissa Bell, 40 years old, was hospitalized after her pickup truck was hit by a log truck at the intersection of Fulton Mill Road and Eisenhower Parkway.
The accident happened last Thursday, October 29, 2015 at about 5:45 p.m. in the evening.
It’s not clear what happened, exactly, but it appears to have involved a log truck driven by 53-year-old Myrick Burke.
Burke was driving his log truck at the intersection mentioned above when he was hit by Alissa Bell’s pickup truck as Bell tried to make a left turn.
Though Burke wasn’t harmed, it looks like Bell was rushed to a hospital, where she was confirmed to be in stable condition. Right now, the Bibb County authorities are looking into this further.
