Windham, NH — Two people were injured in an accident involving a tired driver on Interstate 93 in Windham, New Hampshire, on Tuesday morning, October 13.
According to police, 29-year-old Joseph Vachereau fell asleep while driving just before 5:30 a.m., causing him to hit a guardrail. His truck allegedly slid on its side, then collided with a Subaru, which was occupied by two people.
The two people in the Subaru were both injured in the accident, and were transported to a local hospital for their injuries. Vachereau was not injured in the accident. Police are still investigating, and aren’t sure if Vachereau will face any charges.
