Houston, TX — Police in Houston have confirmed that a man driving along Westpark Dr. early Monday morning died after crashing into a school bus. The accident happened at about 8:00 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of 6200 Westpark, which appears to be near the intersection with Southwest Freeway.
The man who died was driving a blue BMW sports car and was reportedly going very fast that morning when he hit the back of a private school bus.
He was critically injured and died at the scene, the reports said.
Apparently, no children were on the bus at the time and it doesn’t appear the bus driver was harmed at all.
What caused this accident is still under investigation, but police think that speed was likely a factor.
