Wilmington, DE — The local police in Wilmington, Delaware said that a man was accidentally hit by an 18-wheeler truck on I-95 this past Wednesday morning, resulting in critical injuries for him. This happened in the northbound lanes of I-95, near the exit for Route 202.
Police said that around 11:30 a.m., an 18-wheeler truck crashed into either a car or a man walking along the interstate, prompting traffic to shut down immediately.
It’s not really clear what happened, however, it was confirmed that the truck driver was unharmed while an unidentified man was rushed to a hospital in critical condition. At the last update, the man was at Christiana Hospital — no name being released. Authorities in New Castle County are investigating this wreck, according to the news, so there may be updates about this next week.
