Jamestown, MO — A woman from Jamestown was injured last month just outside of the small city after her car was hit head-on by another driver. Patricia Oerly, 54, was identified as the woman who was injured when her SUV was hit by 26-year old Micah Hall’s car.
This happened early Thursday morning, August 20, 2015.
Police said that Oerly had been driving her Dodge Journey south along Highway 179 and was near the intersection with Cave Springs Road when she was hit head-on by Micah Hall’s Ford Taurus, which had been headed north but swerved into oncoming traffic.
The accident left Hall with moderate injuries, but Oerly was rushed to a hospital with more serious injuries.
Right now, the police think that Micah Hall simply lost control of his car, but they said they’d investigate it further. As of late September, there haven’t been any updates on what happened.
Both Hall and Oerly are from Jamestown.
