Jasper, Texas — There was an accident along U.S. Highway 190 this past Thursday (September 10, 2015) that left a husband and wife from Beech Grove with injuries. Police identified them as Norman and Mary Boyette, ages unknown.
The accident happened outside of Jasper, near U.S. 190’s intersection with County Road 138. According to the news reports, the Boyett’s Ford Fusion was hit by a Nissan Versa.
The reports said that the Boyetts were headed along the highway that afternoon when they tried to execute a U-turn, accidentally pulling into the path of an oncoming Nissan Versa.
The two vehicles collided, leaving the Boyetts with injuries.
Both Norman and Mary were taken to a hospital, but they were believed to be in good condition. The driver of the Nissan was identified as Ricardo Velasco, 34, and he was not harmed. It’s not clear if any charges were filed here, but so far, it doesn’t look like it.
