DeSoto, Mo – Samuel C. Lednick was hurt in a two-car accident in DeSoto on Monday, August 31st, 2015. The accident happened around 8:00 pm.
30-year-old Erica A. Rhodes was traveling southbound in a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu. She stopped at Athena School Road before attempting to cross Highway 110. That’s when the front of an eastbound 2004 Pontiac Grand Am struck the right side of the Chevy.
31-year-old Julie M. Sullens was driving the Grand Am at the time of the accident.
Neither driver was injured in the collision.
Lednick, a passenger in the Grand Am, was taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. He was treated and resealed.
At this time, we’re not sure why the Grand Am struck the Chevy. There’s been no mention of excessive speed or distracted driven in connection with this accident.
