Caribou County, Idaho – 20-year-old Tyler Fetzer and 21-year-old Damian Henderson were hospitalized following a single-vehicle accident in Caribou County on Sunday, August 16th, 2015. The accident happened around 6:20 am.
21-year-rold Gavin Smith was driving a 2007 Pontiac G6 southbound along Government Dam Road approaching China Cap Road when the accident happened. But about two miles north of the intersection, for reasons undetermined, Smith lost control of the Pontiac and the vehicle rolled.
Smith and his two passengers were not wearing seat belts. Both passengers were ejected from the vehicle.
Fetzer and Henderson were taken to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello for treatement of their injuries.
Smith was arrested on suspicion of aggravated DUI.
This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
