Sanitaria Springs, NY – One man was injured after being struck on his motorcycle and pinned beneath a pickup in Sanitaria Springs, New York on Thursday, August 27th, 2015.
It looks like a Ford F-350 truck stopped at Old State Road, but failed to see the Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling westbound on Sanitaria Springs Road before pulling into the intersection. The motorcyclist hit his brakes as the truck crossed the intersection but could not avoid the collision.
The motorcyclist became pinned beneath the pickup and had to be freed by rescuers.
He was taken to the hospital, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Investigation is ongoing, bur it appears the motorcyclist had right-of-way and the Ford failed to yield.
