La Vista, NE — There was an accident reported last month (Monday, July 13, 2015) that left two young men in a pickup truck injured and the driver of the truck facing potential alcohol-related charges. Police said that Ryan Rosenbaum, 25, and Logan Wohlers, 21, were both injured after 21-year old Jeremy Hilliard lost control of his pickup truck.
This happened along Y Street at about 10:00 p.m. at night, police said.
Hilliard was driving his GMC pickup truck west on Y that night with Rosenbaum and Wohlers as passengers when he lost control where the road curves into 56th Street.
His pickup truck swerved to the side of the road on some loose gravel and tipped over, landing on its side.
Rosenbaum was hospitalized for cuts and bruises while Logan Wohlers was hospitalized for a concussion. Hilliard was also injured (dislocated hip), though the police at the scene said that they thought speed and alcohol were factors in the wreck.
It’s not clear if charges were ever filed, however.
