Four people were injured in a Toyota Camry accident after they say the gas pedal got stuck
Four people have been injured following a motor vehicle accident in St. Petersburg, Florida Monday night, February 2nd, 2010. Witnesses say that the accident may have been caused by a faulty gas pedal in the Toyota Camry. Eight people were involved in the 1-car accident. Four were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, three refused treatment, and one fled the scene. A witness said that the female driver had told him that the pedal got stuck. She also mentioned that she had been in yesterday to get the car looked at, and they had cleared it. Officials are investigating.
If you have been injured in an accident caused by a stuck accelerator, or any other manufacturer defect, you may be able to recover compensation for your injuries. Even if the manufacturer has issued a recall, they are most likely still liable for injuries you have incurred. The best way to ensure that you have the best chance of recovering appropriate compensation, is to discuss your case with a qualified personal injury attorney. Do not agree to anything before first reviewing it with an attorney that is fighting for you!

As a Texas attorney practicing for 20 years, I have litigated all manner of personal injury cases. I use this blog as a place to write opinion / editorial articles on a variety of topics that catch my interest and as a means of sharing news stories relevant to personal injury accidents. I think the overwhelming majority of people are unaware just how common these types of accidents are and I hope this blog raises awareness to rather serious public safety concerns. However, this blog is simply a means for me to share my opinions and I would recommend that anyone who is considering seeking legal counsel should contact their family attorney.
