Shawano County, WI — A man in a red pickup truck was taken to a hospital in Green Bay along with the driver of a dump truck after they were involved in a major accident on Thursday. This happened along Highway 156, near Highway 29, the victims were identified as a 54-year old Pulaski man and a 39-year old Gillett man.
The police said that the Gillett man was driving the dump truck and the Pulaski man was driving the pickup truck.
According to them, the Pulaski man was headed west along Highway 156 on Thursday and was near Highway 29 when he tried to make a left turn into a driveway. As he executed the turn, however, his pickup truck was hit by a dump truck coming from the opposite lanes of traffic.
The accident did damage to both trucks and sent both drivers to a hospital in Green Bay. The pickup truck driver, the 54-year old Pulaski man, was more seriously injured, but the police didn’t think his injuries were life-threatening.
Right now, no charges are being filed.
