Augostura, South Dakota – Mike Lemley was injured while wake-boarding in Augostura, SD on Saturday, August 15th, 2105. The incident occurred around 7:30 pm.
From what we can tell, 32-year-old Lemley was wake-boarding on Angostura Reservoir when he was struck by another boat. The reservoir was more populated than usual due to the Lake-A-Palooza event that was being held at the reservoir.
Lemley was taken to Rapid City Regional Hospital and is in critical condition. There were no other injuries reported.
The driver of the boat was charged with boating while intoxicated.
