Lubbock, TX — Two young boys, both 9 years old, were injured after the golf cart they were riding accidentally flipped over in an accident. Police said that they responded to a call last Tuesday, July 28, 2015 near 106th Street.
It was about 1:45 p.m. in the afternoon and it appears that 9-year old Luke Siegel and another 9-year old boy had been using a golf cart when something went wrong and the small vehicle flipped over.
The paramedics took Luke to the hospital to be treated for serious head injuries. It’s not clear how badly the other boy was hurt. Right now, the authorities are trying to figure out how, exactly, the golf cart flipped over.
