St. Clair County, Georgia — There was an accident reported along I-20 west of Pell City earlier in July (Friday, 7/16/2015) that left at least driver injured. Police said that two 18-wheelers collided with an SUV in an accident along I-20, sending the SUV’s driver to a hospital.
The accident itself happened at about 10:30 a.m. that morning, in the eastbound lanes of I-20.
It’s not completely clear what happened, but the police said that an SUV collided with two 18-wheeler trucks near the Chulavista exit, which trapped the driver inside the SUV.
Paramedics were called to the scene and had to cut the SUV’s driver out and take them to a hospital, though their name and condition haven’t been released. It’s not clear if any charges are being filed.
