Anytime an accident like this takes place, in which a piece of machinery or equipment was involved, it’s always a good idea to have the equipment inspected, to make sure that it wasn’t the cause of the accident. If a defective machine is every found to be the cause of death or of someone’s injuries, then the manufacturer could possibly be held liable.
