I wish we had a little more information about what happened here. Reports say that the boy was getting into his mom’s car at the time. That means that the car was either parked in a driveway or on the side of the road. What caused the van to crash into them? Was the driver not paying attention? If not, what was he paying attention to? I’d say that at the very least, this individual has some tough questions to answer. Now we have a boy in the hospital, with injuries that who knows will have a lasting effect on him, and who’s going to be held responsible for that?
