Adair, Oklahoma — Almost a dozen people were injured in a church bus rollover accident on Monday, July 27, 2015.
Eight children and three adults were among the injured.
The accident happened on Will Rogers Turnpike when the left rear tire blew out. The van, with 10 children inside, rolled, a news report said.
Three children were taken to a Tulsa hospital — one with a collapsed lung. Five other children and three adults were taken to another hospital with injuries that weren’t considered serious.
The group had already suffered one setback an hour prior to the accident when the front right tire of the van blew out.
Apparently, the children who were from Fresh Fire Outreach Center were expecting to head off to a church camp in Branson, but church leaders have since cancelled the camp.
