Whitley City, Kentucky — Kylie Dopple was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident on Sunday, July 19, 2015.
Dopple was attempting to rescue some kittens she spotted walking near Beulah Heights Road when she was struck by a vehicle, a news report said. Dopple was found in a ditch on the opposite side of the road, indicating that she had been thrown a distance from the impact. The driver who hit her didn’t stop to help her.
Dopple was since hospitalized with broken bones in her neck and back and broken ribs.
The accident remains under investigation.
