Cincinnati, OH — There was an accident reported this past Friday, July 10, that left a woman injured. Police said that a black car and a box truck collided on Harrison Avenue in rural Cincinnati after an accident, leaving a woman passenger in the black car with injuries.
This happened near the intersection with Springdale Road at about 2:00 p.m. that afternoon, but not that many details were released.
Police said that the man driving the black car was only slightly injured and that neither of the two people in the box truck were harmed.
So far, the police said they’d be investigating further, but haven’t made any updates.

Commentary:
From what I could make out in the news reports, it looks like this car was hit on the front driver’s side by the box truck, and the damage here was consistent with an improper lane change. I don’t want to make assumptions here without first getting all the facts, but one possible interpretation here might’ve been that the box truck changed lanes into the side of the car and forced it off the road. If that was the case, then I don’t think charges filed against the box truck driver would be out of line.
