INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Metropolitan Police said did not name the person hospitalized following a car accident in Indianapolis, Indiana on Saturday, June 27th, 2015. News releases said that the accident took place at about 3:00 Saturday morning.
Police think that one woman was critically injured when she was walking down or trying to cross the street near 200 South Meridian. The driver of the offending vehicle left the scene, but was found a short time later.
The woman was reported in critical condition by hospital staff.
The investigation is underway.
