Niagara Falls, NY — A vehicle and a motorcycle collided with each other last Thursday, June 18, 2015 in Niagara Falls, leaving the man on the bike with critical injuries. No names were released, but it appears that the car’s driver may have been at fault for not yielding to the motorcycle.
This took place at about 2:15 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, at the intersection of 47th Street and Niagara Falls Boulevard. The police said that the car here was trying to make a left turn onto 47th, but accidentally drove into the motorcyclist’s path, who was headed northwest.
The collision left the man on the motorcycle with very serious injuries and he had to be transported via ambulance to a nearby parking lot so a medical helicopter could pick him up and rush him to a hospital.
It appears that the front of the car hit the side of the bike, but that’s still being investigated.
