New Harmony, UT — A motorcyclist suffered critical injuries in an accident that took place in New Harmony, Utah, on Thursday, June 25, 2015. The accident took place on Interstate 15, near mile marker 42, around 9:30 at night.
Police say that the man hurt in the crash is 67 years old. His name hasn’t been released.
The man was headed north when he drove off the interstate and was ejected from his bike, landing some distance away. Emergency workers responding to the accident transported the man to Dixie Regional Medical Center.
The man wasn’t wearing a helmet at the time.
Local authorities are currently investigating the accident.
