ROCHESTER, NH — Two people were taken to the hospital after a collision that police think may be alcohol related in Rochester, New Hampshire on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2015. Reports out of Portsmouth said that the accident happened at about 10:00 Tuesday morning.
Local officials said that 34-year-old John Davis and 37-year-old Sarah Taliaferro were taken to the hospital after the car they were in crashed on Washington Street. Police think that the vehicle drove off the road, hopped the curb, and struck both a utility pole and a road sign.
Both Davis and Taliaferro were hurt in the crash. Davis currently faces DWI related charges in connection with the incident.
New Hampshire State Police and authorities from Rochester investigated the accident.
