Older man in wheelchair hit by 18-wheeler, caught underneith, suffers injuries
An older man in a wheelchair was hit by a semi-trailer and survived Thursday January 7th, 2010. The man, who's name has not been released, is being treated at Shock Trauma, police said, after he was hit by the big rig and had to be extracted from underneath it. It all happened at about 2:00 p.m. at South Charles Street and East West Street in the Federal Hill area of Baltimore, Maryland. A letter claiming to be from the truck accident victim's granddaughter told a local station that the he suffered a broken ankle, some broken toes, and was taken into surgery.
If you have been injured by the reckless driving or negligence of a tractor-trailer driver, I strongly recommend that you speak with a personal injury attorney. You deserve to be compensated for your medical bills, lost wages, and other damages related to your accident. Why should the financial burden be on you, and not the one(s) who are at fault in the accident? An experienced personal injury attorney will fight on your side to get you what is rightfully owed to you.

As a Texas attorney practicing for 20 years, I have litigated all manner of personal injury cases. I use this blog as a place to write opinion / editorial articles on a variety of topics that catch my interest and as a means of sharing news stories relevant to personal injury accidents. I think the overwhelming majority of people are unaware just how common these types of accidents are and I hope this blog raises awareness to rather serious public safety concerns. However, this blog is simply a means for me to share my opinions and I would recommend that anyone who is considering seeking legal counsel should contact their family attorney.
