Sherman, TX — There was what’s known as a “T-bone” collision this past Sunday in Sherman that left a mother and her daughter with injuries. It happened at about 12:45 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, June 14, 2015 when their PT Cruiser was hit on the side by a minivan.
This was at the intersection of Texoma Parkway and Taylor Street, near the CVS.
It appears that the mother and daughter were in their PT Cruiser and headed east on Taylor Street when they pulled across Texoma Parkway and were T-boned by a southbound minivan.
The young girl was trapped inside the car and both she and her mother were taken to a hospital after firefighters cut them from their PT Cruiser. However, it appears that they are not in any life-threatening condition. The driver of the minivan was identified only as a mother. She and her two children were miraculously unharmed by the wreck, though the minivan had actually flipped over after hitting the PT Cruiser.
The cause of the wreck and who is at fault is still being determined by the Sherman PD.
