Bryan, TX — At least two people were injured in Wednesday night’s accident on Highway 21 in Bryan, but it appears that a third person may have also been hurt. Police said that a Ford truck and a Chrysler van were involved in a wreck on Highway 21 near Highway 6 on Wednesday night (June 3, 2015).
This was around 10:45 p.m. at night, they said, near the Relax Inn.
The Chrysler van was apparently driving east on the highway that night when a Ford truck headed west suddenly tried to make a left turn in front of the van. The two vehicles collided and the driver and passenger of the Ford truck (58 and 52 years old) were taken to a hospital.
It’s not clear how badly they were hurt, but the authorities didn’t seem to think they were in any life-threatening condition.
The actual cause of the wreck certainly appears to be the Ford truck not yielding to the van, but that hasn’t been confirmed by police and no charges have been filed yet. None of the names of these people were released.
