Boyd, TX — Two children were injured when the vehicle they were riding in was rear-ended in Boyd, Texas, on Friday, May 22, 2015. The accident took place on Highway 114.
Police identified 27-year-old Brandon Douglas as the driver of a vehicle that had slowed to turn into a private business. As they slowed, they were hit by a pickup truck being driven by 41-year-old Brandon Parr.
In all, there were three passengers inside the car. Twenty-eight-year-old Melissa Douglas was riding in the front seat. She wasn’t injured. Two children in the back were hurt and taken to Cook Children’s Medical Center.
Parr was not hurt in the crash. Police are continuing to investigate.
