Amarillo, TX — The news reports in Amarillo confirmed that there was a two-car accident yesterday morning (Tuesday, May 26, 2015) between a Ford truck and a Honda sedan that left two people injured: a man and a woman. The accident happened at about 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday morning, at the intersection of Grand Street and I-40’s access road.
It appears that a white Ford pickup truck (a large F-350) was driving west along the access road that morning when it came to the intersection with South Grand Street.
A red Honda was going south on Grand and the two vehicles collided, leaving the Honda with front, driver’s side damage.
The woman driving the Honda and the man in the Ford truck were both taken to a hospital for their injuries, but it’s not clear how bad they were.
Allegedly, the police think one of the drivers ran a red light or disobeyed some traffic signal, but aren’t sure which one. They are going to investigate some more, the news said.
