Millbrook, NJ — Police said that two workers with the Millburn DPW were sent to a hospital this past March (Thursday, March 26, 2015) after the dump truck they were working in accidentally overturned. The workers were identified as Nate James and Louis Magnifico and this happened along Great Hills Road.
According to the news reports, both men were working in a dump truck that was on a asphalt paving project that afternoon when an accident happened and the truck flipped onto its side. It’s not really clear how the truck lost its balance, but it was filling potholes at the time and it’s possible it had driven into one.
Both James and Magnifico had to be rescued from the truck and they were rushed to a nearby hospital. However, it’s not clear how badly they were harmed. More details will hopefully be released later.
