Krum, Texas — There was a serious wreck along FM 1173 this past Sunday morning, May 24, 2015 that injured at least two people. The Krum Fire Department reported that at around 5:00 a.m. that morning, a car lost control along FM 1173 near Lovers Lane and swerved off the road.
The car then crashed into a fence and hit a utility pole. There were two people in the car and the impact ejected one person from their seat and left the other person trapped inside.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene to help rescue the trapped person and both victims were taken to a hospital via ambulance with very serious injuries. It was noted that the severe weather prevented helicopters from being used.
The exact cause of the accident isn’t clear yet, but more investigation may be done later. The name of those involved were not released either.
